Tasks assigned / Work priorities:
- Attend design meetings with OEMs
- Attend Run-off on OEM site
- Planning and schedule according to timing events
- Reports and presentation to managements level
- Support during installation, commissioning, debug, PTR, J1, phases
- Meet program deliverables on time and schedule
- Support and follow open issues with OEM
- Learn and apply test concepts (WMA software & applications, test procedures, follow ES for new programs)
- Fill process sheets, PFMEA, DFMEA, SCAFF
- Workstation - Process design
- Alignment of process to FPS guidelines
- APT and eQPS integrity validation
- Problem Solving
- 8 Disciplines
- Statistical based tools for trouble shooting
- Capability Analysis (Pp, Ppk)
- Control Charts
- Measurement System Analysis (GR&R)
- Provide regular (daily, weekly, etc.) Tracking Status for assigned items
- Develop and track metrics for relevant deliverables and report to the designated Ford Team Leader according to timing and milestones
- Definition and implementation of control methods to provide manufacturing feasibility
- Problem Solving: Successfully follow up and close/solve designated concerns
- This service support must meet customer expectations and it is responsibility of the service provider to comply with the measurables for the program
Requirements
Skills / Abilities:
- Knowledge on Electronics, PLC, Data acquisition systems, mechanicals.
- Quick learning
- Organizational and planning skills
- Time availability and working under pressure
- Teamwork, proactive, sense of urgency, customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal and external)
- Strong negotiation skills to drive timing targets
- MS package knowledge
- Ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management.
- Ability to take decisions under pressure
- PFMEA, DFMEA, SCAFF knowledge
- Test equipment knowledge
- Strong statistical skills
- Knowledge in electrification products (Preferable)
Professional Experience / required knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanics
- +1 Years’ experience working at industry
- Fluent written and spoken technical English
- Experience working as a manufacturing engineer
