For more than 30 years, we’ve developed and launched compelling, inventive communications campaigns that have supported clients in many sectors: education, military, health care, government, nonprofit, and more.Reingold’s IT department is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to execute the day-to-day operational activities required to maintain the delivery of technology services to the business. The role will operate within an effective framework to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are adopted in order to maximize service quality and improve day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will have the ability to think quickly, establish the appropriate solutions, and deliver flawless results.
Exceptional customer service skills are a must. The senior systems administrator will report directly to Reingold’s IT director.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
What You Will Do
- Provide guidance and expertise to users of processes and applications
- Maintain knowledge of the business’ technical operations and applications, including the IT needs of all teams and joint ventures
- Provide Tier 2/3 help desk support
- Adopt a continual service improvement approach to ensure that processes remain relevant and effective
- Troubleshoot and resolve virtual, physical, and network infrastructure issues
- Manage, monitor, and report on the services
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Advise users on appropriate action
- Provision accounts, equipment, and resources as needed
- Coordinate asset procurement, distribution, and disposition
- Complete the IT onboarding process for new hires
- Maintain a deep understanding and awareness of technology advancements for future cloud, software, and other related implementationsProvide end-user training as needed Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members
Required Qualifications
- Working technical knowledge of the following: Microsoft Windows 10 and 11; Microsoft Windows Servers; Microsoft 365 (GCC), Teams, SharePoint (PC and Mac; Microsoft Active Directory; Mac OS X
- Expertise in cloud environments, including: AWS; Google; Azure
- Knowledge of cloud applications, including: ClickUp; Monday.com; Figma; Slack; Zoom
- Awareness and understanding of security principles, i.e., 2FA, single sign-on using Okta/Duo
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of LinuxExperience with asset control procedure, including but not limited to:Apple Business Manager; Kaseya
- Experience with NIST and ISO certification requirement
- Expertise in mobile device support (Apple, Android, Windows Mobile)
- Understanding of SSL certificates
- Experience with network troubleshooting (WAN, LAN, WiFi, firewalls, VPN)
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
