In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development, implementation, and management of compliance activities across various departments. As a fast-moving company, we’re looking for an analytical professional with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a complex workload in an evolving regulatory landscape.Primary responsibilities:
- Manage AML risk assessments, onboarding processes, and responses to law enforcement requests.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits, identify potential compliance risks, and report findings to senior management.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities.
- Provide insights to the sales team on onboarding trends and compliance-related knowledge.
- Support investigations into compliance issues and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Deliver training to employees on compliance policies and maintain accessible compliance resources.
- Collaborate across departments to enhance compliance awareness and drive effective issue resolution.
Required qualifications:
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a process-driven approach.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across various departments and locations.
- Fluent written and oral English skills.
Bonus if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in compliance or AML (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are a plus.
- Knowledge of the payment processing industry, digital assets, or card issuance.
- Familiarity with UK and EU regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with Confluence or similar knowledge management tools.
