ARETUM, a leading provider of technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Communications Analyst, Team Lead, to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead a team of communication professionals in developing and executing strategies that effectively communicate our initiatives and goals to a variety of stakeholders.Your leadership will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our communication efforts align with ARETUM’s mission and enhance our reputation in the marketplace.
You will collaborate with senior management and various departments to ensure a cohesive and effective communication approach across the organization.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Communications Analyst position serves as subject matter expert on all things strategic messaging. S/he will provide in-depth consultation to clients on how best to market the value of their cyber shared services portfolio to domestic audiences, facilitate enterprise-wide workforce engagement efforts, and manage the workflows for a small contingent of writers, strategists, videographers, and customer experience professionals. This position may also be called upon to directly support special projects for GS-15 and Senior Executive Service members, which can involve developing PowerPoints; assembling speeches and talking points; crafting press releases; ghostwriting blogs; designing fact sheets; drafting website content; creating toolkits for media interviews, public engagements, and congressional hearings; and more.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strategic communications, marketing, or public relations experience
- 4+ years of project management experience in government or the private sector
- 2+ years of experience supervising direct reports and managing their performance
- Demonstrable experience supporting senior executives at conferences, media interviews, and other public forums
- A portfolio of work containing a combination of writing samples, communication plans, social and multimedia, and other relevant examples of high-quality communications
- Strong public speaking, process development, and change management skills
- An outspoken demeanor, executive presence, and audacious thought leadership
- Technical aptitude with popular content management tools and platforms, such as Qualtrics, ServiceNow, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, Drupal, and SharePoint
