ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sparksoft is seeking an intern for our DOD Skillbridge program for service members transitioning from the military to the civilian world. The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences.
- Involved in creating and/or maintaining ATO documentation | artifacts (e.g., POA&M, SSPP, etc.)
- Involved in updating Corporate and/or Program policies
- Assisting ISSOs with minor tasks which will allow them to focus on higher priority contract deliverables
- Assisting the CISO with the voluminous corporate security activities
- Any additional tasks which are assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Pursuing a career after military separation.
- Ready to learn how federal Health IT contracting works.
- Be a self-starter who can balance multiple projects and manage time effectively.
- Have a professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with staff, consultants, and vendors.
- Work well under pressure, address high-risk situations quickly, and professionally
- Be a strong communicator
- Must be within 180 days of permissive duty

- Industry related security certification(s) including Sec+
