Alkira is looking for an experienced startup CMO candidate with broad marketing, technology, industry, and management knowledge. The candidate needs to be creative with a unique and strategic marketing perspective to help grow Alkira in one of the highest growth segments of the cloud market, multi-cloud networking.
Job requirements
- Help Alkira take its marketing and strategic efforts to the next level.
- Help create a strategic structure of the marketing departments, including content marketing, brand marketing, marketing communications, demand generation and product marketing.
- Build an excellent brand strategy through content marketing, partnerships, and events.
- Help with the storyline to better connect with customers and improve Alkira brand voice and image.
- Help the CEO with challenges and opportunities, especially in relation to the Three Rs: Revenue, Relationships, and Reputation.
- Help develop a deep understanding of customers with a focus on revenue.
- Be the eyes and ears of the management team, being a messenger watching how the customers are moving, shifting, aligning, and re-aligning.
- Drive a sustainable and competitive advantage through creativity and imagination combined with commercial discipline and a customer lens.
Experience
- Experienced in similar marketing roles in multiple VC funded startups.
- Experienced in building global marketing teams and scaling them in extremely fast paced startup environment.
- The candidate needs a deep knowledge of a growing array of digital tools.
