About the Team
You will join a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly skilled engineering team dedicated to building one of the most cutting-edge Layer 2 solutions in the blockchain space. As a blockchain data integrations engineer, you’ll be collecting, analyzing, and building dashboards around Scroll’s on-chain data.If you're passionate about Ethereum, excited about working with zkEVMs, and want to play a critical role in building the future of scalable blockchain infrastructure, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and optimize databases to store blockchain data
- Create and manage automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to extract and transform raw blockchain data into structured and accessible formats.
- Update Scroll’s website to surface import insights gathered from blockchain data
- Collaborate closely with the product and growth teams to ensure seamless integration and feature development.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability.
Requirements:
- 2+ years as a data engineer
- Understanding of blockchain data structures and smart contract event data
- Experience in creating and managing automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to extract, transform, and organize raw blockchain data into structured formats for analysis and reporting
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web development tools.
- Experience with building RESTful APIs and working with databases
- Ability to work independently and strong communication skills to gather requirements cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
