Alkira, Inc., a Network Infrastructure On-Demand company, is growing our Sales team and we are looking for a Business Development Representative located at our office near Dallas, TX (must be based in Dallas region when applying for this job as this is onsite). Qualifying Leads: BDRs evaluate leads generated from marketing campaigns to determine if they are potential sales opportunities.Outreach: They reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails.Company Presentation: BDRs present their company’s products or services to potential clients.Needs Identification: They identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.Customization: BDRs tailor product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.Relationship Building: Building long-term, trusting relationships with clients is essential.Business Opportunities: Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.Meeting Setup: Setting up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.Reporting: Regularly reporting sales results to the Business Development Manager.Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and pricing/payment plans.Requirements and Skills:
Experience: Work/intern experience as a BDR, Sales Account Executive, or in a similar role.Sales Techniques: Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calls.CRM Software: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).Analytical Skills: Understanding of sales performance metrics and proficiency in analyzing spreadsheets and charts using tools like MS Excel.Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging presentations.Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is desired but not required.About AlkiraAlkira was founded in 2018 by Amir and Atif Khan, the visionary computer networking team that created the multi-billion-dollar SD-WAN market with the founding of Viptela. - Based on California pay transparency law, the annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000. Your actual base salary and level will be determined on a case by case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education and location.
