The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of non-GAAP SaaS metrics, financial statement analysis, and experience working with public companies. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting and expense analysis, and it involves close collaboration with different stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review data and translate analysis into clear data-driven storylines and actionable insights / proposals
- SaaS Metrics: Develop and maintain key SaaS-specific financial metrics, ensuring accuracy and consistency with industry standards.
- Templates & Processes: Utilize and develop financial reporting templates, ensuring they meet the needs of a growing SaaS company. Implement best practices for reporting processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional leaders to build accurate headcount, payroll, and non-payroll expense forecasts.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and commentary for expense performance versus budget, forecast, and prior financial periods.
- Provide executive leaders with insights into expense performance that allow them to make informed strategic decisions on their expenses
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, enhance accuracy, and improve the efficiency of reporting cycles.
