About the role:
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Taking full ownership of your business, strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue net new Enterprise accounts in the Northeast.- Understanding customer’s business requirements and aligning Kong solutions that will add value and help them achieve their business objectives- Providing account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process and contributing to analysis on wins/losses- Effectively managing and leveraging Cross-functional relationships with SE, SDR, Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.- Fostering and Encouraging partnership with the Channel, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, ISVs, etc.- Building large ecosystem-based sales campaigns- Embracing the sales process with attention to detail- Operating with a high standard of excellence- Meeting Customers and Partners on-site and remotely, as well as attending events, trade shows, etc.WHAT YOU'LL BRING- 5+ years of hunting experience- A strong desire to succeed- A past track record of success- A key focus on helping customers solve & address their business challenges- Experience with infrastructure software, open source, APIM, and the cloud native landscape preferred
