Title: Software Engineer (C# / .NET | DoS)
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)Clearance: Active Top Secret w/ past SCI.About this role:
- Rackner is seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience performing .NET and SQL development, unit testing, and database management tasks supporting the State Department.
We are seeking professionals with:
- 5 years; .NET / .Net infrastructure and C# development
- C#, .NET utilizing .NET MVC framework. Web Form, .Net CORE, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, JQUERY, AJAX, WCF, ADO.NET and client-side framework.
- SQL Server 2019 database and SQL Server technologies (writing SQL/T-SQL, Stored Procedure, UDF, triggers)
- DevOps experience working with CI/CD implementation and build/deployment tools (TFS and/or Azure DevOps).
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree; Computer Science or related degree preferred.
- Azure Web Apps and AWS Cloud.
- Code versioning tools - such as TFS, Git.
- Microsoft SharePoint.
What will make you successful:
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems, and applications.
- Understand, design and maintain complex databases, write PL/SQL code, stored procedures and user-defined functions.
- Ability to diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, database, server).
- Research and fix security vulnerabilities.
- Capacity to implement automation through use of jobs, shell scripts, or other techniques.
- Follow the team’s established Agile processes which includes supporting short and long-term planning, cross-functional support and demonstrate working software.
- Strong customer service/client facing skills.
