Mechanical Process Engineer - Liquid Hydrogen


Full-time / Permanent / Onsite based in South San FranciscoZero Emission Industries is looking for an experienced Process/Piping Engineer with substantial experience in liquid hydrogen handling systems to join our team in building a more sustainable future.*For this role we are happy to consider H1-B transfers. Relocation to the San Francisco Bay Area is required.

What you’ll do:


  • Working with our close knit team of engineers, fabricators, and subject matter experts you’ll take the reins designing and building cutting edge solutions to LH2 transfer and refueling for transportation.

What you know:


  • Experience in the engineering, design, and fabrication of piping systems used in the cryogenic process industry.
  • Direct experience with cryogenic hydrogen commissioning and service.
  • Hands-on work with hydrogen fueling operations - specifically designing of piping systems.
  • Working knowledge of industrial codes and common engineering practices used within the oil and gas industry. Codes of specific interest are ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.12, ASME Section VIII, NFPA 52 or 2, ANSI/AIAA G-095A.

Benefits:

  • Expected base salary $155 - 175K based on experience.
