This person will be responsible for creating new--and enhancing existing--Tableau dashboards for our data-savvy constituents, as well as managing and optimizing data sources that power the BI assets. Your technical, analytical, and design skills will enable us to deliver more impactful reporting products that will help improve decision making and increase productivity across the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, maintain, and manage Tableau dashboards and data sources.
Create style and development guidelines, templates, best practices, and shared functions that can be leveraged by other members of the analytics team in their Tableau projects.
Partner with stakeholders across various departments, including product, engineering, content, and subscription, to gather project data requirements.
Collaborate with the Group BI team to optimize the data pipeline from BC US data warehouse into BC's Tableau Server.
Engage directly with end-users to conduct walk-throughs, review reports, and explore interactive features, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
Tableau Certification preferred.
Prior professional experience developing interactive BI dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
Excellent knowledge in application of advanced Tableau dashboarding techniques, including calculations, parameters, functions, combining data sets (joins, unions and blends), and filters.
A solid understanding of relational databases, and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow.
Familiarity with Python.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to deliver updates, reports, and dashboards to various stakeholders across the company.

Ability to understand the unique needs of different stakeholders and surface solutions that meet their distinct data consumption preferences.
