Responsibilities:
In the role of Founding Engineer - Full Stack, your responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including:- Collaborating with product, design, fellow engineers, and clients to create top-notch products for candidates, employees, and talent teams.- Assuming full responsibility for the entire product development process, from creating database migrations to crafting React components.- Rapidly conceiving and delivering high-quality products, including those that cater to unanticipated customer needs.- Transforming designs or client feedback into well-defined, prioritized tasks and ensuring on-time delivery.- Playing a significant role in architectural decisions, establishing new infrastructure, services, and applications from the ground up, and contributing to the technical roadmap.- Advocating for and implementing engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, code quality, security, and monitoring.- Continuously seeking to refine systems and code, driven by an unwavering passion for your craft.- Eagerly embracing opportunities for fast-paced growth within our organization, adapting swiftly in both execution and leadership.
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Autonomous and highly proactive: You possess a proven track record of end-to-end product development in challenging and ambiguous environments, with a reputation for taking ownership of challenges and outcomes.- Customer-centric: You don't just build products; you do so with a profound understanding of customer needs, actively engaging with them to provide support.- Demonstrates empathy in leadership: You are not only willing but also enthusiastic about supporting your colleagues.- Possess 3+ years of full-time engineering experience or 1+ year of engineering experience in a fast-growing startup.- Proficiency in React and Typescript, with experience in constructing application backends (microservices or web frameworks).- Some familiarity with developing applications using Django or a solid grasp of Python, as well as a working knowledge of Tailwind CSS, GraphQL, NextJS, and Node.- A computer science degree is not a prerequisite; we welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds who have a passion for engineering.
