About the Role
At Ramp, UX Research sits within the product design team and is responsible for the processes, tools, and methods product teams use to build with our customers and develop a deep understanding of their needs without compromising our product velocity. UX Research enables product teams to prioritize and build the right solutions today, and to gain the insight to delight our customers with new products they’ll love in the future.UX Research partners closely with product teams to empower them to conduct their own research on questions and hypotheses they’re exploring.
We also work with our product partners to identify areas that would benefit from more foundational research and initiatives, and bring those insights back to the organization.
*Please note that this UX Research role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week*
What You’ll Do
Identify and execute on research topics in partnership with product teams
Design and coordinate studies with clear goals and outcomes
Optimize processes, tools and resources that enable UX research at Ramp
Build out educational materials and host trainings that teach product teams how to conduct effective research projects that result in actionable insights
Pursue areas that benefit from larger generative or foundational research and build compelling evidence-based narratives for the organization
Champion our customers and look for opportunities to amplify research projects and share learnings across teams
What You Need
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting qualitative UX research at a tech company
Experience designing research projects using a variety of methods like usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys
An operations mindset with an understanding of the logistical challenges and workflows of recruiting for research
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
Nice-to-Haves
Understanding of Figma
Experience with quantitative data collection and analysis
Compensation
The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $114,750-$135,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
