The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Financial Services Engineering Team — a group of passionate professionals building reliable, scalable, and user-centric fintech products.As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of quality — ensuring our software not only meets technical standards but truly delivers for our customers. You’ll work hands-on across both manual and automated testing, contributing to new product releases, integrations, and system improvements that touch millions of users.This role is ideal for someone who loves precision, thrives in agile environments, and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, high-impact team.
What You’ll Do
Quality Engineering & Automation
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and scripts for both manual and automated testing using Playwright (JavaScript).
- Maintain and enhance our automation framework to ensure scalable, maintainable test coverage.
- Test APIs and system integrations to guarantee seamless data flow between platforms.
Functional & Financial Accuracy
- Apply accounting and financial knowledge to validate the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reporting within our systems.
- Ensure compliance, correctness, and reliability across financial software modules.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts within cross-functional Scrum teams to embed QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement of both process and product.
Analysis & Reporting
- Identify, log, and analyse software defects — collaborating with engineering teams to drive efficient resolutions.
- Produce clear, structured documentation of test plans, results, and improvement recommendations.
- Provide transparency on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Analyst, with strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript and automation tools such as Playwright (or similar frameworks).
- Deep understanding of API and integration testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and their relevance to financial software.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Nice to Have:
- Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, TestRail).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and practices.
- Familiarity with financial or accounting software products.
