Green Group Corporate, a Turf Masters Brands company is currently searching for a 
Division Fleet & Safety Manager who will be responsible for managing the company’s fleet operations and safety programs at a higher level of complexity and scope. This role includes implementing strategic initiatives for fleet efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing safety performance, and minimizing operational risks. The Fleet & Safety Manager provides leadership across multiple branches within a specific division of the company, driving a proactive safety culture and optimizing fleet reliability to support operational success. Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in safety management, Fleet Management, Logistics, or a related field strongly preferred.

Experience: 

  • 4 years of experience in fleet management, safety management, or a related role, with experience managing multi-branch or regional operations. 
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations, and fleet management best practices. 

Skills:  

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.) 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver training and collaborate with teams. 
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions 
  • Ability to conduct safety training and educate employees on safety procedures 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites 

General Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to mechanics and inspectors, branch managers, technicians, and other employees to ensure alignment with fleet and safety objectives. 
  • Manage the maintenance, repairs, and operations of an expanded vehicle fleet, including trucks and specialized lawn care equipment, across multiple branches or regions. 
  • Develop and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal vehicle and equipment performance while reducing downtime. 
  • Implement fleet optimization strategies, including cost control measures, fuel efficiency monitoring, and life cycle analysis of vehicles and equipment. 
  • Track and analyze fleet performance data, including maintenance costs, vehicle utilization, fuel usage, and repair history, to identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, including vehicle inspections, driver certifications, and documentation requirements. 
  • Manage vendor relationships for fleet repairs, maintenance services, and procurement of vehicles, parts, and supplies. 
  • Partner with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives related to fleet management and safety across branches or regions. 
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure vehicles and equipment meet business needs while maintaining safety and compliance standards. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders on fleet and safety matters. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and environmental requirements. 
  • Maintain accurate records for vehicle maintenance, safety training, incident reports, inspections, and compliance audits. 
  • Prepare detailed reports for leadership on fleet performance, safety metrics, incidents, and cost analyses. 
  • Monitor and implement changes to industry regulations, ensuring company policies and processes remain compliant. 
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory standards. 
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and evaluations of vehicles, equipment, facilities, and job sites to identify risks and implement corrective measures. 
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions to mitigate future risks. 
  • Analyze safety performance trends across branches, report key metrics to leadership, and recommend process improvements. 
  • Deliver advanced safety training for employees, including defensive driving, equipment handling, chemical safety, and hazard recognition. 
  • Promote and enforce company safety culture, driving employee accountability and continuous improvement in safety performance.
