This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an industry-leading platform and make a significant impact at a growing company. Inktavo was started by combining expertise and innovation of former industry competitors.As the Vice President of Sales you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy to capture market share and drive revenue growth. You will lead a team of sales professionals with varying levels of experience and will help mentor and grow our sales team.

 You will have a voice in marketing and product strategy. You will also assist in the process of establishing relationships with key players in the branded merchandise industry, and positioning our offerings effectively in the market.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy Development: Enhance and continuously implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Inktavo products, identifying target markets, customer segments, and competitive positioning.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis: Work with Marketing to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth; adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze metrics, and provide regular reports to the executive team on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Be a close partner with leadership and marketing to align messaging and campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and effective lead generation strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our Inktavo family of products and services, articulating their value proposition to clients effectively. Work closely with the product team as the product evolves to help prioritize business needs and bring a brand-facing view and source of feedback.
  • Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

What you bring to the table:


  • Proven Track Record: You have a history of consistently exceeding revenue targets and driving significant growth in previous roles, demonstrating your ability to execute effective go-to-market strategies. 8+ years of GTM leadership with experience in SaaS 
  • Team Building Expertise: With extensive experience in building and scaling high-performing sales teams from the ground up, you know how to identify, recruit, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Strategic Vision: You possess a strong ability to develop and articulate a clear business and sales strategy that aligns with overall strategic objectives, ensuring the sales team is focused and effective in executing that vision.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You leverage analytics and market insights to inform your strategies, making data-driven decisions that lead to actionable outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You excel in collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies, optimize processes, and ensure a seamless experience for customers.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: In the fast-paced startup environment, you thrive under pressure and can quickly adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
