Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with a strong background in application deployment and a range of general development skills. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kubernetes, particularly with the OpenShift platform, as well as experience using Podman with Docker containers. Additionally, experience with Git/GitHub/GitHub Actions and shell scripting will be highly valued.The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment of applications, working closely with other members of the development team to ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the Build and Deployment environment and prescribe the right approach for the deployment.
- Work closely with other members of the development team to ensure successful deployment of applications, utilizing Kubernetes with OpenShift and Podman with Docker containers.
- Utilize Jenkins and shell scripting to build the CI/CD pipelines and streamline the deployment process and ensure optimal efficiency.
- Participate in implementing and testing and troubleshooting the pipelines.
- Defining and setting best practices to implement, test and deploy and support the processes in the CI/CD environment.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in the relevant field of IT industry or DevOps development.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, particularly with the OpenShift platform, and with Podman and Docker containers.
- Demonstrated expertise in Jenkins, Docker, and shell scripting and Ansible.
- Good to have in AWS/Azure cloud.
- Proven experience in application deployment, including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Good to have working on Linux based infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
