Currently, First Connect is part of SwingDev - the technological hub of Hippo Insurance. In the future, we plan to establish a separate First Connect entity in Poland, which means this role will also play an important part in laying the foundations for our local organization.We’re looking for a Talent Manager to lead all People & Culture efforts for our Poland office. This role is both hands-on and strategic - you’ll be part of the global HR team while also shaping the employee experience locally.

We might be a match if you…
- Have 7+ years of progressive recruitment and HR experience, ideally in high-growth or global organizations.
- Bring strong knowledge of Polish labor law and HR practices.
- Have proven experience in both talent acquisition and HR business partnering.
- Are fluent in Polish and English.
- Excel at building relationships, coaching leaders, and navigating change.
- Are proactive, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for Poland, partnering with local and global hiring managers.
- Develop sourcing strategies and strengthen our employer brand in Poland.
- Act as the main HR business partner for Polish leadership and employees.
- Translate global HR initiatives into local practices and share insights back to the global team.
- Build and foster a strong, inclusive, high-performance culture aligned with our values.
- Drive onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and offboarding efforts.
- Support performance reviews, goal-setting, and career development.
- Ensure compliance with Polish labor law, manage local HR policies, payroll inputs, benefits, and documentation.
- Collaborate with finance and legal to ensure smooth operations.
