is seeking a IT Systems Administratorto be a part of our Consulting team. The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining IT infrastructure that supports toll collection, payment systems, and internal operations. They ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers, networks, databases, and user devices across headquarters and toll plazas. Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux), storage systems, and databases. 

  • Manage cloud and on-prem hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V). 

  • Oversee network devices (routers, firewalls, switches, VPNs) at toll plazas and central offices. 

System Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity utilization. 

  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to OS, databases, and applications. 

  • Implement backup and recovery solutions to prevent data loss. 

User & Access Management

  • Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions. 

  • Enforce identity and access policies (with IAM teams). 
  • Support Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA, and role-based access for tolling applications. 

Security & Compliance

  • Manage antivirus, endpoint security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. 

  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS (for payments), ISO 27001, and government transport security standards. 

  • Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments. 

Incident Response & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to system outages and network failures at toll plazas. 

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for IT issues escalated by the helpdesk. 

  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software repairs and replacements. 

Documentation & Process Management

  • Maintain system configuration documentation, network diagrams, and inventory records. 

  • Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for IT operations. 

  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning. 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator / IT Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer. 

  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration. 

  • Experience with network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs). 

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). 

  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL). 

  • Certifications (preferred): MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
