šš¼ What you will be doing
Reporting into our Chief People Officer, the People Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling Rampās Core People Operations. Youāll partner across all business areas, ensuring a seamless employee experience at every stage of the lifecycle ā from hiring and onboarding, to payroll, performance, learning and development and beyond.This is a hands-on, high-impact role where youāll manage key People Operations initiatives end-to-end, while also leading projects that strengthen Rampās culture and enable our people to thrive.
Youāll balance operational excellence with strategic projects, working closely with our People & Culture and Talent teams.Weāre a start-up: that means youāll wear multiple hats, roll your sleeves up, and embrace ambiguity. We donāt bind you to a rigid job description ā instead, we give you ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how People Ops operates at Ramp.
š§© What you will be working on
Core People Operations
- Own and continuously improve People workflows across the full lifecycle: onboarding, induction, payroll, benefits, performance, pay reviews, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with Polish labour law (and support emerging markets where relevant).
- Manage sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
- Scale and automate processes to enable efficiency and growth.
People Partnering & Employee Relations
- Build trusted partnerships with managers and leaders, advising on people-related challenges and opportunities.
- Proactively spot and address employee relations issues, defining Ramp Networkās approach to ER across teams.
- Act as a mediator and problem-solver, helping resolve disputes and ensuring delivery pace.
Data, Insights & Systems
- Maintain accurate People data and deliver meaningful insights to leadership.
- Define and track KPIs for people processes, linking data to business objectives.
- Own Ramp Networkās People systems (HiBob, Greenhouse, etc.), ensuring they are integrated and optimised.
Compensation, Reward & Benefits
- Partner with Talent to define Rampās reward philosophy.
- Lead the operational delivery of payroll, benefits, and compensation activities.
Learning, Development & Culture
- Collaborate on L&D frameworks for high performers and future leaders, including succession planning.
- Support the delivery of learning initiatives, all-hands, and leadership sessions.
- Drive engagement activities, D&I initiatives, and community-building events that make Ramp Network a place people love to work.
Office Support
- Support the day-to-day operations of our Warsaw and WrocÅaw offices, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and welcoming environments.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure the offices remain well-stocked and operational.
- Coordinate in-office events, team gatherings, and ad hoc celebrations.
- Act as the go-to person for general office and facilities-related queries.

- Proven experience leading end-to-end People Operations, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Strong knowledge of Polish labour law, employment tax, and payroll.
- Track record of scaling and automating People workflows and processes.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., HiBob) and recruitment tools (e.g., Greenhouse).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to build trust quickly.
- A balance of operational rigour and strategic thinking ā you can execute at pace while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
- Comfort with ambiguity and experimentation; resilient, adaptable, and quick to learn.
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to shape employee experience and culture.
- Passion for continuous improvement and employee engagement.
