Overview:
ABC Imaging is seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for directing equipment procurement and logistics, managing a team, and driving cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the purchasing team; set strategy and monitor performance.Define and execute procurement strategy for equipment, maintenance, and services.Manage supplier governance, risk, and performance; expand and qualify vendors.Oversee sourcing activities (RFQs/RFPs), negotiations, and contract management.Approve POs/requisitions; ensure accuracy and policy compliance.Manage budget, forecast demand, and track cost savings and inventory.Ensure on-time delivery and conformance to specs; expedite as needed.Resolve complex PO–invoice issues; coordinate with Accounts Payable/Finance.Drive process improvements and procurement analytics; collaborate cross-functionally.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role.Strong equipment purchasing and logistics background; manufacturing/printing equipment preferred.Leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/purchasing analytics experience a plus.
