We are looking for Senior Software Engineer in our Platform Engineering team who will work on scaling new services rollout and innovation for Alkira's world class cloud networking solution.Summary:You will be responsible for the growth, innovation and scalability of the infrastructure that underpins Alkira’s Cloud Networking platform.Responsibilities:
- Building infrastructure using Terraform
- Scale up / scale down of clusters as required
- Maintaining charts and pipelines
- New services rollout
- Building alerting infrastructure
- Rotational on-call support for production / dev issues
- Managing monitoring infrastructure like Grafana and Prometheus
Requirements:
- 4 - 6 years’ experience in building and management of production Cloud systems
- Strong software programming skills – Python required, Golang preferred
- Strong hands on experience with Terraform
- Strong hands-on expertise with Linux systems
- Experience with cloud providers; AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with management of Grafana and Prometheus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
- Highly desirable - Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse-CI, Jenkins
