We are excited to announce the opening for a Junior Accountant, who will join our Business Operations Team in Huntsville and contribute to our growing technology company operating in the missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, journal entry processing, and record maintenance
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with processing travel expense reports
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements and reports
- Support budget tracking and financial forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with audit preparation
Basic Qualifications:
- You must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- You will need 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (internships and related work experience may be considered)
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Unanet ERP system is desired
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of government contracting and DCAA compliance is desired, but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
