The WEX Electronic Trading Platform and Algo salesperson is responsible for developing and originating new business opportunities with a focus on buy side trading desks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Established network of buy side relationships
- Proven experience selling multi-asset class execution and trading software
- Fundamental knowledge of FIX connectivity and software architecture
- Knowledge of the US listed Equity and Options algo landscape
- Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial attitude
- Understanding of competitive landscape with the ability to articulate WEX’s benefits and differentiators
- Series 7 license is a plus
Responsibilities
- Introduce new clients through prospecting and networking
- Manage accounts in order to maintain client relationships
- Collaborate with clients, product and sales teams in order to cross-sell and deliver solutions
- Liaise and communicate with the WEX Support group to help solve client issues
- Provide product feedback and development recommendations
- Understanding and adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
- Willingness to travel
$95,000 - $145,000 a year
