We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading our Web Experience team within the Application Platform tribe.Job OverviewAs a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will take a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services across our TypeScript, Vue, and React stack. You will help define technical direction and set best practices across Kpler.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of web applications using Vue, TypeScript, and React.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering their professional growth and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
- Act as a technical expert, setting and enforcing best practices in software development.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance our development stack.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance, solving complex technical challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Hard Skills
- Strong experience with TypeScript within modern SPA frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
- Experience implementing design systems and component libraries.
- Expertise in frontend testing strategies and techniques (unit, component, e2e, TDD).
- Proficiency with full-stack technologies and languages, including TypeScript, Node.js, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience with maintaining git monorepos and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Nx).
- Experience creating and implementing Micro-frontend applications (module federation).
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to take initiative, be bold, and remain a fully committed team player.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
