Fire Protection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct Security Risk Assessments and develop Design Concepts for industrial facilities and critical infrastructure.
• 
  Ensure compliance with building codes, NFPA standards, and HCIS SAF directives.
• 
  Perform Fire Hazard Analysis and develop comprehensive Engineering Design Packages.
• 
  Review and approve Contractors' shop drawings to ensure they meet codes, standards, and bid requirements.
• 
  Provide troubleshooting support during the construction and installation phases.
• 
  Participate in the commissioning of fire protection systems.
• 
  Develop and implement emergency and evacuation plans tailored to each facility's unique needs, conducting drills to validate effectiveness.
• 
  Conduct fire risk analyses and establish appropriate safety measures.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 
  Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in fire protection engineering.
• 
  Preferably certified as a Fire Protection Engineer (CFPS).
• 
  In-depth knowledge of fire protection equipment and systems, including water-based suppression systems, gaseous fire suppression systems, passive fire and smoke containment systems, and foam-generating equipment.
• 
  Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code, HCIS SAF directives, and NFPA standards.
