Profile


We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer for Develocity. The person in this role will prepare, maintain, and create self-paced training courses about Develocity and Gradle Build Tool that will build upon and expand our current training offerings. The person in this role will work closely with the Develocity Engineering and Developer Advocacy teams on expanding the training program.

Responsibilities


  • Own the training program strategy and vision
  • Develop self-paced training courses
  • Maintain training materials, keeping them up-to-date with new features
  • Deliver on-demand live training

Minimum Qualifications


  • 3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical training
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English 
  • Experience with Java
  • Familiarity with Gradle
  • Familiarity with the JVM ecosystem 
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Develocity or using Build Scans
  • Software engineering experience
  • A passion for teaching and explaining engineering topics
  • Experience owning a training program or relevant project management experience
  • Real-world experience with Gradle
  • Experience with Groovy or Kotlin
  • Interest in developer tooling

Location


We are looking for someone in North America ET time zone or Europe for this position to allow for seamless collaboration with the team. While our team works remotely and is spread across the globe, we deeply value daily interactions and collaboration.
