We're seeking a visionary Director of B2B Marketing, who will report to the VP of Marketing, to lead our marketing strategy and execution in the real estate technology sector. If you've got the chops in B2B marketing, and now you're itching to make your mark in an industry ripe for innovation. We're not starting from scratch – we've got momentum. But we need your expertise to supercharge our growth from 1 to 1.5 and beyond. You'll be working your magic in the real estate tech sector, so bring your relationship-building skills.

We're a two-sided marketplace with SaaS and AI tools – cutting-edge solutions that are reshaping the industry.

Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy
  • Build and optimize our acquisition pipeline for consistent lead generation
  • Create and execute nurture marketing campaigns to guide prospects through the funnel
  • Scale our efforts with smart CRM implementation, particularly Salesforce
  • Pioneer new marketing channels in the real estate tech world
  • Craft content that positions us as the go-to solution provider
  • Partner with our product team to nail crucial launches
  • Collaborate with the C-suite to align marketing with overall business goals
  • Spearhead go-to-market strategies for new offerings
  • Use data analytics to drive decisions and boost performance across all channels
  • Build a marketing dream team that thrives on innovation and results
  • Establish our company as an industry thought leader through strategic partnerships, speaking engagements, and publications
  • Collaborate with the brand team to develop and execute the overarching brand strategy for the B2B real estate tech space

Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:


  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B Marketing, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive significant business growth and market share
  • Product Launch Expertise: Exceptional track record of leading major product launches in the B2B tech space, with demonstrable revenue impact
  • Market Positioning: Extensive experience in developing and executing effective market positioning strategies in competitive environments
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing marketing organizations in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Executive Presence: Excellence in collaborating with C-level executives and influencing cross-functional teams at the highest levels
  • Data-driven Leadership: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on ROI, performance metrics, and business impact
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, AI tools, and two-sided marketplace dynamics, with the ability to anticipate and capitalize on market trends
  • Communication: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies and influence at all levels of an organization
  • CRM Proficiency: Strong experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and ability to leverage these tools for marketing automation and lead management
  • Content Marketing: Proven track record in developing and executing successful content marketing strategies, including thought leadership initiatives
  • Brand Development: Experience in implementing brand strategies in the B2B tech space

Here's the Pay Range:


At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is:

  • Zone 1: $165,000 - $200,000 + bonus + equity
  • Zone 2: $152,000 - $185,000 + bonus + equity
  • Zone 3: $140,000 - $170,000 + bonus + equity

This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer. We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
