Your impact 


As a Public Sector Program Manager (PM) at Correlation One, you will lead program execution for one of Correlation One’s largest public sector clients, the Department of Defense. Correlation One works closely with the Department of Defense to design and deliver programs that attract and / or train thousands of individuals to meet the Department of Defense’s broad talent needs. For example, Correlation One created the Cyber Sentinel Skills Challenge, attracting more than 5000 applicants for the Department of Defense.

This is a high-impact role with significant client-facing responsibilities and cross-functional operations management. This role will report to Correlation One’s Senior Director of Operations, and will have significant interaction with Correlation One’s executive leadership team.Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, executing, and scaling Correlation One’s talent development and recruitment programs with the Department of Defense, ensuring effective collaboration across teams and exceptional customer service. The role will also involve significant client management duties and may require occasional travel to Washington DC.The ideal candidate is an excellent project and program manager and is able to execute simultaneous competing deadlines and tasks involving multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have client-facing experience, ideally with a large public sector organization like the Department of Defense.A successful Program Manager is a quick learner with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and is able to navigate ambiguity productively and patiently. They have an interest in changing lives through education and a desire to work on larger and/or different programs as we continue to scale. Key Responsibilities:


  • Program Design: Coordinate with internal cross-functional partners and our stakeholders at the Department of Defense to design talent acquisition and talent development programs that align with the DoD’s talent objectives.
  • Program Operations & Execution: Manage program operations workstreams end-to-end in partnership with internal partners at Correlation One. Individual workstreams vary from program to program but may include instructor staffing and staff management, program admissions, content development, live online program delivery, and program reporting.
  • Client Management: Communicate daily with senior stakeholders at the Department of Defense in both written and virtual meeting formats. Travel to DC for live meetings at the Pentagon or local offices at least once per quarter.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with various teams, including Business Operations, Curriculum, Professional Development, Account Management, and others, to ensure coordinated program execution. Provide input to drive improvements in the overall program ecosystem.
  • Strategic Insight and Reporting: Develop KPIs that align with the client’s objectives, manage our programs towards those KPIs, and establish an infrastructure for consistent, accurate reporting to the client.

Your Expertise:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting or government consulting preferred, preferably working with large public sector clients
  • 2-5 years of experience managing complex projects end-to-end, bonus points for projects that required deep strategic thinking and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience with marketing or business development campaigns is a plus
  • Experience in the workforce, training, or education sectors is a plus
  • Experience in the cybersecurity, AI, or data science sectors is a plus
  • Experience leading and managing support teams/contractors, demonstrating autonomy and success
  • Proficient in Google Suite (primarily Sheets), MS Office Suite (Excel), Slack, and Zoom

Where you are


  • This role is US-based remote and should be compatible with EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $115,000. Please note that the shared range is specific to the United States. The range only reflects the base salary and does not reflect bonus, equity or benefits.
