About the Role:


TheDirector of Professional Services provides the strategic vision and leads service delivery for Digital.ai’s Professional Services Organization for an assigned territory. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Services, the leader is responsible for collaborating with peers to develop strategies and operations to deliver best-in-class services (i.e., consulting, implementation, and educational services) that can be applied globally. TheDirector of Professional Services’ goal is to help customers accelerate their DevOps transformation and successful realization of value from Digital.ai software investments.

The Director of Professional Services works to build and scale a services business, in a dynamic, transparent, and values-led organization to enable customer and company success.

Responsibilities


  • Develop strategic plans to build and evolve Digital.ai’s product and transformational service offerings
  • Collaborate with peer service leaders to develop service offerings aligned to enterprise and commercial market segments, including value positioning, scope of services, collateral, and pricing.
  • Lead delivery of consulting, education, and implementation services to our customers, overseeing resource management, project delivery and operational success metrics.
  • Partner with Product Management, R&D, and other internal departments to align service packaging with corporate product strategy
  • Be accountable for services financial goals and metrics, including bookings, revenue, gross margin, and utilization within territory of ownership.
  • Own operational metrics, such as time-to-value, customer satisfaction and on-time completion of projects, consultant utilization, and NPS.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve performance towards financial and operational metrics.
  • Act as an evangelist for services, assisting sales with selling and serving as an executive sponsor for our strategic customers
  • Develop and manage a network of partners in partnership with our Channel and Business Development teams to deliver service engagements with consistent quality

Requirements


  • 10+ years of experience managing, leading and/or delivering professional services
  • 3 years’ experience with a subscription-based business model, delivering on-premises and SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions
  • Proven experience managing a team of 20+ people in a fast-paced, matrix management environment. 
  • Experience managing technical, cross-functional professional services teams (e.g., consulting, implementation, trainers, project managers) and delivery partners
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling a professional services business with accountability for financial targets.
  • Experienced with software development lifecycle, agile, DevOps, analytics, application security, software development tools/technologies, and/or cloud platforms.
  • Experience working with partners to fulfill service engagements.
  • Stellar problem-solving skills: proven ability to structure sophisticated problems, develop solutions with little guidance, and craft high quality, detail-oriented outputs. An ideal candidate should thrive in a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Organized and efficient, results-oriented, and able to move forward without complete information, extremely comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder relationship building skills. Strong executive-level visual and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to be an evangelist for Digital.ai Productsand Services
  • Ability to travel 30%

We are committed to providing our employees with fair and competitive compensation. The current annual base salary range for this specific job is estimated to be between

$150,000-$180,000.

Please note that final compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Certain positions at Digital.ai might also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, commissions or other employee benefits which are separate from the base salary and to be defined at offer stage.
